a) History : In the year 1950, Kaulikura Primary School which is presently known and style of Baidyanath Majumder Smriti H/S School, was established at Kaulikura, Sonamukhi, Kailashahar with the help and Ernest effort of the local people and the Govt. at the time no development work for the primary school was done. The work of imparting education to the children was started in a house constructed with bamboo and GCI sheet. Later in the year 1966, this Primary school was raise to the status of Senior Basic with the financial assistance of State Govt. gradually the school house was changed to semi-pucca. In spite of unfavourable geographical position most of the students at the time pass the examination of class VIII standard from this SB School and were compelled to take admission in class IX in other school. Afterwards, in the year 1985 due to strong demand of the local people of Kaulikura and Jalai Panchayet the school was again raised to High School by the State Govt. of Tripura. Every year due to satisfactory result in the secondary level and for the gradual increase in the number of student the representative of Kaulikura G.P. along with student and local people placed demand to the School Education Department to raise the school into Higher Secondary level. Accordingly in the year 2007 on 17th April the up gradation of the school into higher secondary level in Arts stream and on 1st April of 2017 the school also includes science stream respectably.

b) Achievement: Good performance of the student in the academic, around 80 to 95% every year in board exam.

The School runs from 6.30 am to 10.30 a.m. (Morning Shift).

After than noon shift start from 10.30 to 4.30 p.m.

No students are allowed after 10.45 a.m. and without school uniform.

No student should be absent without proper leave application.

Irregular attendance is detrimental to progress. Parents should ensure that their children attend school regularly.

No students were permitted to attend school if he/she is suffering from any infectious /contagious disease even on exam or test time.

Enrolment in the school implies, on the part of both parents and students, willingness to comply with the requirement.

Parents are requested to attend the Parents- teachers meeting two times in every year.

 Transfer certificate will be issued when students leave the school for higher study or leave for another school.

School will provide Mid-Day Meal among the classes of  I to VIII student.All pupils are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings.
